We've had a stethoscope at my house for a long time. I don't remember since when, but I do remember my mom using it when my sister was younger and had pneumonia. After my last pulmo appointment and getting "wheezing" written on my diagnosis for the visit, and my pulmo not saying anything about how my lungs sounded, I'm curious what I sound like at different times.
I have 2...I had one that a nurse friend of mine gave me...then I lost that one, and bought another one...and then I found the one I lost...so, like with so many other things, we have an "upstairs" one and a "downstairs" one.
I'm the stay at home mommy to 2 wonderful girls. They both have their challenges, and I'm working hard to learn how to navigate our way through them. This blog is primarily to help me deal with the realities of parenting a child with moderately severe asthma...but who knows what else might find it's way here.
REALLY? That's awesome! Then again, I didn't own a thermometer until last week, and if I didn't own one of those, why would I have a stethoscope? ;-)
